Specifications

Physical fit and terminal checks

7.83 × 5.30 × 6.68 inches (L × W × H). Height excludes terminals; allow additional cable and terminal clearance. Check the manufacturer’s dimensional and installation information.

• Measure the tray and usable length, width and height. Include the hold-down, battery cables and terminal clearance.
• Identify positive and negative terminal locations and match the cable end style and fastener size.
• Secure the battery against movement; follow the vehicle’s installation requirements and the applicable battery instructions.
• Check current draw, cable sizing, protection and charging-system output as part of the complete installation.

Included hardware

• M6 Terminal Hardware Incl.

Practical application examples

• Powersports replacement: Before choosing PS975L for a motorcycle, ATV or UTV, compare the current battery label, tray measurements, positive-terminal position and hold-down. A matching reference group alone does not confirm vehicle fit.
• Seasonal use: A vehicle stored between rides needs a chemistry-compatible maintenance plan. Check parasitic draw and the manufacturer’s storage instructions before leaving a charger attached.

Charging, storage and care

Use an automatic charger with an AGM profile and the correct system voltage. Follow the battery’s applicable instructions and label for current, temperature and voltage limits. Flooded-battery or repair/desulfation settings should not be assumed suitable. Check state of charge during storage and before demanding use.

Questions about PS975L

Will PS975L fit my vehicle?

The confirmed physical dimensions are 7.83 × 5.30 × 6.68 inches (L × W × H). Height excludes terminals; allow additional cable and terminal clearance. Compare your tray, polarity, terminal style and hold-down before ordering.

What do the power ratings mean?

CA and CCA describe starting performance under different test conditions. Maximum amps describes peak current capability. Amp-hours describe stored charge at a stated test rate; these ratings are not interchangeable. Actual runtime depends on load, temperature, voltage cutoff and battery condition.

Which charger should I use?

Use an automatic charger with an AGM profile and the correct system voltage. Follow the battery’s applicable instructions and label for current, temperature and voltage limits. Flooded-battery or repair/desulfation settings should not be assumed suitable. Check state of charge during storage and before demanding use.
